The original idea was to offer diagnostic service to other auto facilities that did not have the technicians nor equipment to perform such tasks. After acquiring the necessary equipment, Mark and Dave rented a two bay garage on Main street in the Village of Lannon, WI. To their surprise, this area was in desperate need of a qualified and reputable auto repair facility. To keep the cash flow coming in, they welcomed the general public when they came for repairs. M & D Auto Services was creating a remarkable reputation. In the first few months they were flooded with walk in traffic. Up to this point in time, there wasn't even a sign on the building. As the work load increased with the public consumers, Mark and Dave changed their plan. The new direction was to service the public only. Although the service calls to other repair facilities stopped, they still answered technical questions via the telephone.
It took only two years to grow out of their two bay locations. This was due to a work ethic second to none. Mark and Dave call it "Signature Series." The qualities of work they do, fair pricing and how they treat customers, make them proud to put their name on each and every repair.

In October of 1996 M & D Auto Services opened their doors in a new location. They had designed and constructed a state of the art facility. It is still on Main Street, only a half of a mile east of the old garage. This facility can accommodate up to ten vehicles at time. With the added room more services have been added. Alignments and heavy duty hoists were among the improvements. To this day, the M & D team still works within the code of ethics we call "Signature Series."
